AUX SOINS DE
Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens
James "Jim" F. Navarro II, age 64, of Crown Point, IN went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Jim was born November 24, 1957 to the late James Francis and Josephine (DeSuno) Navarro, Sr. in Chicago, IL.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Jessica (Steiger) Navarro; son, James Navarro III: daughter, Louise Navarro; son, Andrew Collins; and brother, Joseph Navarro.
Jim and Jess met in 2014 and dated for five years before marrying on May 25, 2019. Jim was a member of Village Church in Dyer, IN and his faith and trust in the Lord was the most important thing in his life.
For over 40 years, Jim was a diesel mechanic for the railroad, most recently working for Metra in Chicago, IL. He was an avid golfer, and he and Jess spent every available sunny weekend on many local golf courses. He loved spending time with his children, playing the guitar, and dedicated many evening hours to maintaining his fresh water fish tank.
You are gone from our lives way too soon, Pops. We will miss you very much.
A Public Visitation for Jim will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
