Elizabeth M. Misner

Elizabeth was born September 7, 1923 in Whiting, Indiana to the late John and Elizabeth Zahari. Also preceding her in death are her loving husband, Ray Misner; brother, John (Margaret) Zahari Jr; and a step-grandson, Mark Thanos. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Janet Misner; son, James (Sophie) Misner; and step-granddaughter, Alexis (Terry) Coady. Elizabeth was a 1941 graduate of Whiting High School, after graduation she worked as the Chief Clerk at the War Rationing Board. After the World War II she enjoyed being a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. She retired after seventeen years of service for Pepsi-Cola Munster branch. Elizabeth was a member of Dyer United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 3-7 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Crown Point, IN 46307). Funeral services will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:30 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
