Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens
David Patrick Luttrell (March 17, 1957 - August 28, 2023) was the son of Dixie Mae and Lenard Lee Luttrell.
David worked at Cleveland Cliffs (formally known as Inland Steel) from 1975 until he recently retired in August of 2023. He adored nature, and spent as much time as possible riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles or Triumph motorcycle out to the woods or by a river or lake. David also loved music, played guitar, and enjoyed “jam sessions” with family and friends. He enjoyed watching concerts, and loved watching movies. David enjoyed reading, especially historical fiction about Native Americans and ancient tribes. He had an affinity for Native American culture, and enjoyed attending pow wows to add to his collection. Above all, he loved making people smile.
David is survived by his daughter, Ariana Couture; son-in-law, Douglas Couture; brother, Larry Luttrell; and sister, Alice Hardin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Grace, 3005 Condit Street, Highland, IN 46322 on Saturday, September 16th at 10:300 AM with visitation from 10:00 am until time of Mass.
