Patricia V. Gruber

Patricia V. Gruber of Ossining, NY, formerly of Croton on Hudson, NY and Royal Tunbridge Wells, England passed away March 8th, 2021. Patricia was born September 26, 1933, in Royal Tunbridge Wells, England to Major Geoffrey Sergeant and Elizabeth Royds. She became a Registered Nurse and began a long career in Nursing at Great Ormond Street Children Hospital in London, England. Her nursing career took her to Kenya and eventually landed her in the United States in the mid 60's where she remained until her passing. Patricia was an avid gardener and was known for having the most beautiful garden in the neighborhood. She was an enthusiastic traveler and most cherished her annual trips to England. Patricia was a loving mother to her son Nicholas (Jocelyn) and her two grandchildren, Alexandra and Jordan. She was a devoted sister to Jennifer and her nieces Sarah and Gillian. Also a loving Step-Mother to Chantal, Jonathan (Regina) and Amy (Kevin) and her Step Grandchildren Zack, Katie and Holden. She will forever be remembered in our hearts for her wry English sense of humor and her ability to Keep Calm and Carry On.

We will be holding a celebration of her life at a further date to be determined. Once the weather warms and we can gather outside safely together.
