John was born on November 28, 1949 to John Arthur and Alice Elizabeth (Carrio) Boyce in Brooklyn, NY. John graduated of St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors Degree. He retired from the New York City Transit Authority after 26 years.
John is survived by his devoted wife Sara (Maley), his cherished children John Daniel (Kimberly) and Richard (Sloane Anne Miller), and his beloved siblings Laura Wilmerton (Richard), David Boyce (Jerry), Mary Gagliardo (John), and Dennis Boyce (Suzanne).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 from 3 to 5pm at EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at
St. Augustine Church, Ossining, NY on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11am. Private cremation will follow. www.efcarterfuneralhome.com
