Jacqueline "Jackie" Marie Loconto Barker

Jacqueline was born on May 16, 1943 in N. Tarrytown, NY to the late James M. and Louise (Anderson) Loconto. Jacqueline was a First Grade Teacher for 32 years with the Lakeland School District. She loved teaching and children so much that after retirement and relocating to Chandler, AZ she volunteered with the Chandler School District for 20 years. During her many years in education she touched many lives. Many of her former students always speak fondly Mrs. Barker’s First Grade.

Jacqueline is survived by her beloved husband George J. Barker; loving daughter, Cindy Dong and her husband Larry and her adoring grandchildren, Melissa and Ryan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 10th at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on Hudson, NY. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton.
