Carol Anita Pierre

Carol Anita Pierre, beloved mother, mother in law, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, in Peekskill, New York, at the age of 90. She was born on March 14, 1934, to Robert and Magdalena (Junge) Stube in New York, New York.

Carol’s life was defined by her love and devotion to her family. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Leo Pierre, in 1965, sharing 32 wonderful years together before his passing in 1997. Carol is survived by her loving and caring son, Christopher Pierre, and his wife, Yolie Pierre. She was also the proud and devoted grandmother of Kimberly and Wyatt Pierre, who brought her immeasurable joy.

A homemaker at heart, Carol was known for her impeccable sense of style. She was always dressed to impress, coordinating her outfits with precision—matching shoes, purses, and everything in between. Carol enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially sharing dinners with loved ones and savoring her favorite glass of wine. She had a collection of wine ornaments and decor, along with a clock that was always set to 5:00—reminding everyone with a smile, “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!”

Carol and Leo enjoyed many trips together, including memorable visits to Atlantic City, where they embraced life’s adventures with enthusiasm. Her infectious spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
