Thursday, April 15, 2021, Barbara Lee Casson passed away at the age of 64. Lee was born March 14, 1957 in Brookline, MA. Lee received her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado, Boulder where she met her husband, Justin Casson. They married June 28, 1987 and together raised a family.
Lee loved the outdoors, was passionate about the environment and compassionate in her love to others. She was a gifted artist with a keen intellect, forever exploring new realms. Lee embraced life joyfully and fully in spite of 20 years of chronic and debilitating lung disease which she faced with courage, determination and unwavering optimism even on her last day. Lee’s greatest passion was family, with unbounded pride and joy in her two daughters Sarah and Fiona. Those who knew Lee were graced with her sparkling eyes and radiant smile.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents John and Ursula. She is survived by her husband Justin, daughters Sarah and Fiona, siblings Diane, Jay and Mark, and many many cousins, nieces and nephews.
