He was born March 8, 1934 in Nitro, the son of Raymond and Ollie Pridemore Osborne. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Melton Osborne.
He was a US Air Force Veteran and Retired from ACF Industries. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved cooking. A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Caruthers, of Poca, Kevin Osborne, of Nitro, and Sonja Williams of Nitro, grandchildren, Erin Burdette (Ben), Amy Adkins (Mitch), Cory Caruthers, Cody Williams, Autumn Williams (Cortney), and Jacob Osborne, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home, Cross Lanes with Dr. Bruce Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler. Mt. Memory Gardens with Military Graveside Rites conducted by St Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 until noon in the Tyler Mt. Funeral Home.
