Dolores is survived by her son Kevin Michael Bascle (Anna) and her three grandchildren Brianna, Matthew, and Gabriella Bascle, who were the loves of her life. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Davis Brumfield (David), her brother Larry Davis (Joy), as well as five nieces and one nephew and four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Johnson and her parents.
Dolores was a graduate of Mandeville High School before beginning her banking career. She worked for what is now known as Hancock Whitney Bank, eventually retiring after numerous years. Dolores was a member of the Mandeville Boating Association and the Mandeville Lion’s Club. Together, Dolores and Joe were both members of Model A Antique Car Club. She also was an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, food, and spending time with family and friends. Her infectious smile will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA 70448 on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 12:00 PM with visitation at the church on Thursday beginning at 10:30 AM. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be live streamed on the Grace Funeral Home Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/GraceStLazarus/ , and on the Our Lady of the Lake Church website at https://www.ollparish.info/. Interment will follow the services in Mandeville Cemetery.
