This day a year ago changed my life.  I knew there was something wrong and I broke into John's house and found him.  It was the worst day of my life.  

I wonder what if.  What if I were there Sunday night.  Could I have saved him,  or was it just his time?  

What i do know is that John himself told me of how he grew as a person through his life and how much he loved his family and his patients.  His laugh came from his heart and he found joy in little things.  

Although I miss John terribly, I know he loved you all and I know God is loving him in heaven right now.

I still think of you everyday and how you impacted my life this time last year just before my melanoma diagnosis. Wish I could talk to you and get your advice on the road ahead... Merry Christmas. XO

We miss you so much, especially during these holidays. You were loved. I pray that the Lord has given your loved-ones the strength necessary to cope with this tragedy.

It's hard to believe it's been a year since I last saw your face, held your hand, and heard your laugh. That last night we spent together wandering around the Mission Inn looking at the Christmas lights will forever be a precious memory. I miss you so much John.

You are always on my mind. This time of the year is the hardest because so many things remind me of our time together last year John. The one memory that I will hold onto for a very long time was Thanksgiving morning when we met for breakfast before going to be with our families. You came walking into Denny's with that cane. You were so proud of that ugly cane. We had so many laughs that morning. The look on your face as we were leaving and I was singing you Christmas carols at the top of my lungs. We were getting some funny looks. I miss you John!

I'm never not thinking of you. I know you're with us all. I love you and miss you more than anything else.

I miss you so much. I wish you were here. It's not fair. I love you.

Missing you so much lately. Everywhere I look something reminds me of you. Drove thru Covina the other day and it felt like my heart was being ripped out. I will always treasure the memories of our short time together.

Went to school with john .on the track team together . were we both threw the shot put .we had our own little group .coach sos was  a shot putter so he was part of are group .john helped sos get Olympic
weight lifting going at school .john was great at that to this day I  tell people about how good he was .haven't seen him since school but he will never be forgotten .god bless

Prayers to all those touched by the loss of John. He was a man that left his mark on you, no matter how briefly he was in your life. His smile and laugh will be missed, his grace and compassion remembered always. Rest in peace, John.

It,s hard to say goodbye to a loved one and we always don't know why it happens but when they pass away they go to a peaceful place with no more pain and suffering. I call it a great reunion in heaven. sorry for the loss.RIP john

With Randy growing up next door to Johnny we remember the the thud as his weights hit the garage floor under his father's tutelidge. We will miss him. Heaven is his celebration arena now and one day we will be united again. May his sisters be comforted with the thought of the great reunion.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your brother John. Jonhny always wanted to be a great body builder like his dad. I am so glad he was able to do that. And become a man of medicine as well. I know he will be greatly missed.  Good men always are.

I will always remember hanging out with John at the Buda household swimming and watching him lift weights which he excelled at, we even became family when my brother married his sister but i always felt like family just being over at the Buda house, R.I.P. brother, catch you in Glory!!!

I have very fond memories of the emails and letters where you poured out your heart, and where you covered me in written prayer. Never afraid to show and share your faith in Christ, you were an example to many.

As a great friend, school buddy, and fantastic doc we will truly miss you John!  We threw the shot put together in high school. I coached him in 1978.  We stayed great friends all these years -- he was even my back doctor and a great one at that.  We will always remember you and all the good memories too.  Rest in peace my friend.

John, our friendship was brief, just the last few months and I am so thankful our paths ever crossed.  Not only did you work wonders for me as my doctor, but you helped me, calmed and guided me after I was diagnosed with Stage III Melanoma.  I can never repay you for lifting my spirits with your sense of humor and genuine care.  I looked forward to our talks and will miss them very much.  I will see you again someday, my friend.

The late and great Dr. Leslie Saddler introduced me to you years ago. With his stamp of approval, I knew you had to be one excellent doctor, and you were. We had alot in common, same age, same occupation, and same stunningly good looks (ok same bad since of humor). I will miss you.

doc buda....we went down so many paths together.  you were in practice years ago with my cousin's husband.  I found you years later and we became friends.  I often would clean your office, gave you my old computers so your office would look "up to date."  I couldn't pay you everything so I even gave you a leather motorcycle jacket with the U.S. flag on it.  you eventually moved into my old counselors' office.  You even helped me take a stray dog to the pound since I had jumped out of your moving car to save him.  you were an awesome friend, father, doctor, healer, joke teller,  I will relive our 30 plus year friendship every day.

Dr. Buda, I am glad I had the privilege of meeting you in the short time that I did. You were always so full of life and showed such a positive outlook.  Thank you for helping me feel better as my chiropractor.  You will be missed by all who knew you.  My deepest condolences to the family.

Wes and I can't believe you left this earth we know you are in paradise but your legacy will live forever in our hearts thank you so much for helping us heal and just being a good friend. Blessings to your family and friends.......

John was a great human being that I knew through my brother in law Ruben. He a very polite and courteous man and got along with everyone I know. He work out at he same Gym I did and after that he became my Chiropractor.
Life is so unpredictable and I still can't believe he has left us. He like other friends was too young but that is life. he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
