Please accept my condolences in Glen's passing.  Don Lovelock

Uncle Glen was a sweet Man.  Truly a Gentleman.  I am thankful to have known him.  Also very grateful that Nancy, Emily, and Matthew were part of his life, and he part of theirs.  All were better and happier for their time together.  Love and Peace to Everyone who loved him.❤️

Growing up, I'll will always remember the wonderful Christmas's eves and Christmas days at my grandparents in Bowmanville and summer cottage times with Glen and the whole family.  I was always excited to go back to Glen's home to see his cars, tractors, machinery and explore the woods around his property. 

Glen developed his wonderful creative gifts of visual art, square dance calling and his mechanical abilities including working on his own engines as a youth.  Glen’s God given talents also included teaching (computers, DOS language).  As God is the great creator of all things, He created us in His image to also be creative.  (Genesis 1:1 &  Genesis 1:27).  

Growing up I realized how humble and a gentle Uncle Glen was and how he would always chose his words carefully.   Sometimes, it’s also what he didn’t say too that was equally impactful.

I’m thankful, Uncle Glenn surrounded himself with such great friends who helped him and others in the community.  It’s so true, that you can really tell about someone's morals and character by the friendships they keep.  (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12).

Over the last few years, I’ve noticed more peace and joy reflecting in Glen’s eyes and demeanor than ever before, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit living in Glen (Galatians 5:22-23).

Lastly, I’m very thankful for the opportunity that God provided to my sister Nancy and I to fellowship and pray with uncle Glenn one last time the morning before he passed.  I prayed and asked that God would give us this chance to be with him, and God was faithful to deliver.  (Matthew 7:7-8).

We Love you Uncle Glen and you will be sorely missed.


Fond Memories of Glen and Carolyn as customers at the Mission Thrift  Store.  Dick Frances was an author he would always be looking for.  Also  certain models of little tractors and trucks.  He sure missed Carolyn.

I know you are sad by Glenn’s passing. I have so many memories of him, especially when we used to go on the wagon, train caravan s   he would dress up every morning in a different outfit and go around?
and bump your tires to Make sure they were ready to go and make sure you were safe on the trip he bring up the rear and stay with anybody who had trouble he always took the time to talk to my husband, Bill  if Bill found something that represent John Deere tractors, he always picked it up for Glenn. And if Glenn found things that represent a Tasmanian devil which bill was into Glenn would pick it up for him. If when you’re cleaning up things that Glenn has look for a CD we made it when we went on the great west caravan you might find it quite interesting I lost my husband Bill  two years ago. I was sad when I hear that Carolyn passed now Glenn
