Ronald Edward Gibson

On the 9th of December the world lost a wonderful man. Ron was kind, sweet, strong, friendly, funny, sincere and extremely generous.

He was always willing to lend a hand and nothing was ever too much trouble for him.

Ron was born in Sintaluta, Saskatchewan, loved the prairie province (especially the Riders) and he was always true to his roots. He was in his element when he was busy and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, golf, curling, camping and travels with wife Carole. He spent 40 plus years in the electrical wholesale business and after 40 years with Eecol Electric retired from the Calgary head office as vice president. He mad life long friends there who will miss him.

Ron was predeceased by his first wife Jean, but was one of the luckiest men to have found love again. He is survived by his loving wife Carole; his sons Chris, Jeff, and Alan and their families, his sister Peggy Kugler of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and his step children Christopher and Kristin O’Reilly.

Although he left this world too soon, he will remain in our hearts and minds forever.

A celebration of his life will be held on his Birthday, Saturday, January 26th from 3 to 6 pm, at his home, where we will toast him with a wee dram of scotch!
