Robert Morrison Barr

Born in Victoria BC on July 21, 1946.

Predeceased by parents Morrison and Julia and step dad William Congdon, brother Jimmy and niece Shannon.

Survived by Siblings - William (Sherill), Maureen (Reginald), George (Melanie), Debbie, Beverly (Tom), Janine (Dan) and many nieces and Nephews.

Rest in peace Robert Morrison Barr. Bob passed away in the company of his family. He will be missed by his brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews and by his many many friends.

Bob was a long time fisherman on the BC coast. He fished Herring, Salmon, Halibut and Cod from the age of 14 until his health forced him to retire.

Bob’s fishing knowledge and work ethic made Bobby a well sought after fisherman and he fished on a lot of older boats with a lot of old time fisherman.

He had a lot of stories to tell and loved to have a smoke and a coffee and just chat about his favorite subject…… fishing.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

I think he’s in a good place now. I think God gave him a new chart and Bobby set a new course… checked the tides and off he went on his last voyage.

We can only imagine the reunion in heaven – when Bobs ship came in.

A celebration of life will be held on July 23, 2022 at 12 noon at 3886 Royston Road, Royston BC.
