Percy, a carpenter by trade and a long-time resident of Cumberland, BC, passed away peacefully October 25th, 2020 at the age of 71.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Alice (Haslam) Wood of Fredericton Junction and his partner Gale Wheeler. He is survived by his sister Geraldine Wood of Fredericton, stepdaughters Liz and Kate, extended family, friends, Robbie, and June.
A dynamic man, Percy excelled at almost everything he tried; he was a gifted wood worker, fisherman, woodsman, gardener, and cook, as well as a spender of many hours on the computer by the fire. He was a small-town guy who could talk about stock market trends and building computers; no topic was out of reach. He was also a tall man.
A celebration will be held during the summer of 2021 in Cumberland, BC. Details to follow.
A special thanks to those who were there for him. You know who you are.
