Joan grew up in North Vancouver. She lived in Gimli, Moose Jaw, and Belgium, before settling in the Comox Valley.
Joan’s life was weaved on the loom of music. She was an expert pianist, and taught piano to many students.
She was Sid Williams’ accompanist for 25 years. She also worked as a pharmacy technician.
Left to mourn are her husband Art, her children Kathleen, Michael, and Eileen, and her daughter-in-law Lynn.
She will live in the memories of her 7 grandchildren, and the darlings of her heart, her 9 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held in May
