On July 19, 1975, he married the love of his life, Margaret “Peggy” (Cramblett) Bowman who survives.
After graduating from The Ohio State University, Mike worked in sales for many years and retired from Halo Branded Solutions in May of 2021. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed watching their football games. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan; enjoyed being his daughters “fix it man” and enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball summer leagues and going out with his wife, Peggy. Mike loved his children and grandchildren very much and was extremely proud of all of them. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Peggy Bowman of Coshocton; two children, Jennifer (Larry) Carey of Newark and David (Ashley) Bowman of Columbus; two grandchildren, Brooks and Carter Bowman of Columbus; brother, Jerry Bowman of Coshocton; two sisters-in law, Susan (Tim) Markel of Coshocton and Sara (Gary Jadwin) Prindle of Zanesville; two nieces, two nephews and his dog, Max, also known as his “Little Wing Man.”
Along with his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Peggy Cramblett.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mike’s name to the Ronald S. Cramblett Scholarship Fund, c/o Coshocton City Schools, 1207 Cambridge Road, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
