Irma “Marie” Cores, 84, passed away November 24, 2011. She was October 5, 1927 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Russell H. and Irma B. Moore. Marie was a 1945 graduate on Coshocton High School. Marie, affectionately known as “Schultz”, devoted her life to being a loving, caring, and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens, caring for her cat “Buddy”, and spending time with her friends. She attended Roscoe United Methodist Church, where she was an active member and had many friends, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. Marie married Thomas “Whick” Cores in 1948, who preceded her in death on May 17, 2003. She is survived by her three sons, Stephen “Cooz” (Karen) Cores of Coshocton, David “Doms” (Kathy) Cores of Cedar Hill, Texas, Daniel “Shorty” (Jean) Cores of Pickerington, and daughter, Nancy “Whella” (Van) Hamilton-Blanchard of Coshocton; daughter-in-law, Lois Cores; grandchildren, Stacie (Aaron) Ware, Stephanie (Jon) Snider, Scott Cores, Sean (Nansa) Cores, Tommy Cores, Spencer Cores, Ben Cores, Robin (Michael) D’Errico, Chris (Trisha) Cores, Ryan Cores, Erica (Jay) Brown, and Matthew Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Madison, Megan, and Marley Cores, Dylan , Dominic, and Luca D’Errico, Cameron Cores, and Garrett and Campbell Brown; sister JoAnn (Bill) Norman; brother-in-law, Jack Lyons; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Tom, Marie was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Brent Hamilton; grandson Brian Cores; sister, Lois Lyons; and brother, Russell Moore. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at 12:00 pm at Roscoe United Methodist Church with Pastor Coralee Cox officiating. A private family graveside service will be held earlier on Saturday. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marie’s name to Roscoe United Methodist Church, 475 High Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 or to Health Services of Coshocton County, P. O.
