Carol Jean Fisher, age 80, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born in Crawford, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1942 to the late Loy Richard and Josephine Jewel (Moonyham) Lipps.
In 1960, Carol graduated from Conesville High School and on September 10, 1965, she married John R. Fisher who passed away in 1984. Carol worked for Edmont’s for 25 years and then for Kraft Foods for 13 years before retiring in 2007.
Carol’s two sons, two granddaughters and two great-grandsons were her life outside of her three cats. She loved taking pictures and keeping photo albums of her family. She enjoyed reading her Bible every day, playing cards and working crypto quotes from the newspaper. Carol will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeff Fisher of Killbuck and Brian Fisher of Coshocton; two granddaughters, Chelsey (Javin) Hagy of Newcomerstown and Tiffany Fisher of Killbuck; two great-grandsons, Caydin and Corbin Hagy; and siblings, Pauline (Roger) Chaney of Coshocton, Robert Lipps of Baltic, Richard (Pat) Lipps of Nashville, AK, Dee Dunn of Coshocton and Tammy Cacioppo of Baltic.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
