She was preceded in death by her parents, Salomon Ramos and Ursula Garza Ramos; her husband, Jose Sanchez; brothers, Francisco Ramos, Valente Ramos, Lalo Ramos; sisters, Salome Ramos, Margarita Cardenas, Frances De Leon; son-in-law, Charlie Reyes and two great-grandsons, Eric Espinosa and Samuel Espinosa.
She loved gardening and landscaping; decorating, dancing, and was very creative.
Viviana was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who cherished being with her family; her home was always the center of family gatherings and activity. She will always be loved and will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters, Angelita Espinosa (Sam)of Dimmitt, Texas, Lupe Reyes, Maria O. Cantu (Gilbert, Sr.), Leonor Orosco, Ursula Lopez (Eusebio), Cynthia (David) Lennox of Dallas, Sandra (Tony) Gutierrez and son, Valentin Orosco, Jr. (Janie). Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Gilberto Herrera (Hortencia) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Beatrice R. Herrera, of Anson, Texas, Maria Herrera, Jackie Herrera, Salomon Herrera, Santos Rodriguez (Eusebio), Dominga Salazar all of Corpus Christi, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Honoring her as pallbearers are her grandsons: Sam Espinosa, Jr., Gonzalo Reyes, Jr., Larry Espinosa, David Reyes, Bobby Escobar, Gilbert Cantu, Jr., Joe Escobar, and Oscar Orosco.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Trisun Health Center on Fortune Dr. for the loving care they provided for their father in his time of need.
Public visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church.
