Victoria P. Reyes

Mrs. Reyes was born September 23, 1933, to Mr. and Mrs. Antonio and Dora Pimentel. As a young lady she worked in the cotton fields alongside her family. She then later worked for David L. Perry and Judge Rene Hass for 18 years. Mrs. Reyes was a strong hard working, loyal, dedicated and dependable women. She loved her family and her husband of 51 years, Mike Reyes. She enjoyed cooking for her family on any given day and especially on holidays. She enjoyed making tamales, pan de polvo and her famous carrot cake. Mrs. Reyes also loved working outside on her yard, enjoyed her Rose bushes and the company of her loving Chihuahua, Chula.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Reyes; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Antonio and Dora Pimentel; her son, Eddie Reyes; her daughter, Gloria Maria Reyes; her grandson, Roy Reyes Jr.; her great grandson, Sebastian Thomas Hewett and her great- granddaughters, Brea Ann O’Mallon and Matilda Reyes; her brother, Jacobo Pimentel and Rauletito Pimentel; two sisters, Lina Mendoza and Fransisca Pimentel.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Rosalinda Musquiz (Jose), Diana Garcia (Robert); her sons, Rene Reyes (Mary), Rogelio Reyes (Teresa), Raul Reyes (Elizabeth) all of Corpus Christi; 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; 6 sisters and 4 brothers all of Corpus Christi.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5830 Williams Dr. Interment will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
