Susan was a beautiful person, always thinking more of others than herself. She and Gary had a very special relationship. In 1975, they opened Gary Office Machines where they worked closely together until her illness. Susan was talented in many crafts; sewing, cooking, and was a Master Gardener. Just prior to her death, after seeing paintings her young granddaughter had done, Susan decided she would like to try, and accomplished that also. Through the years, she and Gary entertained many friends and family at their weekend retreat on Lake Corpus Christi, where she also served as Mayor of Lakeside, Texas. They both rode Harley Davidson motorcycles and were members of Ladies of Harley and HOG Group.
She will be greatly missed by all who were recipients of her love, loyalty, and sense of humor. She was the strength of the family.
A rosary and communion service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Saint Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 3513 Cimarron Blvd. Burial will be at a later time.
