Ruby L. Williams was born in Lane City, Texas on January 12, 1924 to the union of Lee Jones and Isabel Jones. Ruby was the third of five children. Both parents preceded her in death as well as siblings Iola O'Neal, A.D Robbins,Robert Robbins, and Z.L Williams.
Ruby accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Westhaven Baptist
Church in Corpus Christi, Texas for many years.
After marrying her second husband Wardworth Williams on January 12, 1954, the family remained in Corpus Christi for many years. After the passing of Wardwoth, and her caregiver daughter Sharon King, Ruby relocated to San Diego, Ca with her daughter Nancy Fagan and son-in-law Vincent Fagan.
Ruby was a beautician for about 20 years. She loved children and would sing children songs to them. Another one of her favorite pastimes was fishing, catch but did not like to clean them.
The Lord called Ruby home on February 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by son Louis C.Hutchinson and daughter Sharon King. Ruby leaves to mourn her passing daughters Nancy Fagan (Vincent Fagan), Brenda Clark both of San Diego, CA, grandchildren Ruby Soto, Tracy Hutchinson,Trina Clark, Kelly Clark, Brenton King, Rorey King and Corey King. Also left with cherished memories are a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and lots of long time friends.
