Ruben Erasmo Sanchez

He was preceded in death by his parents, his only sister, Amalia Munoz and one son, Rudy Sanchez.

Ruben is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Sally Rita Sanchez; sons, Ruben (Rosie) Sanchez, Jr., Rene (Norma) Sanchez, Ramiro (Elma) Sanchez, Raul Sanchez, Ray (Valerie) Sanchez; one daughter, Becky Sanchez; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He worked as a machine operator for Heldenfels for 40 years. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He never failed to show his love for his children and grandchildren by attending all of their ballgames and other activities.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening at Funeraria del Angel on 549 Cheyenne Street. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Adam Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Raul Sanchez, Joshua A. Garcia and Brandon Martinez.
