Roberto J. Garza

He will be remembered for his love of music. Robert had many friends and never met a stranger. He was always ready and willing to help anyone in need. He was a devout catholic and member with Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and proudly served as a Knight of Columbus.

He is preceded with his parents, Julian and Manuela Garza; first wife, Viola D. Garza; sons, Robert Garza, Richard D. Garza; son in law, George Gonzalez; and brother, Ruben Garza.

Roberto leaves to cherish his memories his children, Sandra Gonzalez, John A. Garza (Karen), Roderick James Garza (Grace); grandchildren, Robert Eric Garza (Astrid), Aaron Garza, Katherine Gonzalez, Kristen Payton, Ashley Garza, Jordan Garza, Garry Dean Allen, John A. Garza Jr., Joshua A. Garza, Alexis R. Garza, Emiliana Garza, and Abigail Garza; great grandchildren, Royce, Mason, Jaden, Aria, Adrick, Adreal, Jamesey, Aiden Allen, Jaylynn Membane, Angelo Payton, Donavan Payton, Dillan Cano, Robert James, Ana Maria, Sarah Christine, Christopher Matthew Garcia, Joshias Desean and Jacob Nazir Garza; he also leaves a host of extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 8:30 a.m. a Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. that same morning. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
