Rebecca R. Gonzalez

Rebecca R. Gonzalez was born February 28, 1933 in Ingleside, Texas to Viviano Rodriguez and Josephina Prado Rodriguez. She went to her heavenly home on December 25, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a member of Templo Cristo Rey De Gloria Church. She retired after 30 years from National Linen Service. A single mother of four sons, she worked hard to maintain and support a home she purchased with her hard labor and sacrifice for her sons.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Anita Gonzalez; her parents; her brother, Viviano Jr.; and sister, Ester Olivarez.

Rebecca leaves her loving memories to her four sons, Rick (Sandy) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Cesario Jr. (Leticia) of Houston, Texas, Greg of Corpus Christi, Texas, Emilio (Patricia) of Beeville, Texa; sisters, Soila (Armando) Perez of Lubbock, Texas, Raquel (Chavelo) Benavidez of Plainview, Texas, Maria (Jerry) Ortega of California; brothers, Pablo (Anna) Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Armando (Billie) Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; her dearest niece, Christina Salas; and her daughter, Erika Ester (Eduardo) Salas of Corpus Christi, Texas; twelve grandchildren. Tanya, Tara, Chanelle, Erika, Shelby (Rick), David (Cesario Jr.), Greg Henry, Samantha, Alex, Zachary (Greg), Marcia, Michael (Emilio); numerous great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held January 8, 2021 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home beginning with Public Visitation at 1:00 pm, Funeral Service at 2:00 pm, and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
