Petra Sanchez

Petra married the love of her life, Anthony V. Sanchez on May 25, 1990.

Petra was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness. Along with her faith, she was also passionate about her family. Petra loved being a Nana and Grandmama to her beautiful grandchildren. She also enjoyed being out in service, arts and crafts, shopping, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Petra is preceded in passing by her son, Anthony Sanchez Jr.; her sister, Bernadette Gonzalez; her mother, San Juana Yolanda Alonzo; and her father, Albert Ruiz Jr.

Petra leaves her loving legacy to her beloved husband of 33 years, Anthony V. Sanchez; her children, Yolanda (Carlos) Solis, Valerie (Carlos Jr.,) Cantu, Jesslyn Sanchez, and Abel Sanchez; her grandchildren, Destiny, Carlos Jr., Carlos III, Benjamin, Gemma, Emma, Julie, Vicente, Anthony Jordan, Averie, Christian, and Tofu; her siblings, Elizabeth (Drew), Albert, Jesse, Abby, Albert, Ruby (Chris), and Trini; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 9 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Memorial Talk will be held at 7 PM that same night at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where services will conclude at 9 PM.
