Mildred Lloyd

Mildred Lloyd, 95, was born the first out of six children on August 21, 1915 to Robert Ernest and Bessie Elizabeth Lloyd. She was born in Granger, Texas but lived her entire life in Corpus Christi. Mildred worked in Dime Stores, Bakery, Meat, and the Banking business. She served the Lord as a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church, a Sunday School teacher, a choir member and numerous other jobs to serve her Lord.

She is survived by two brothers, Cecil W. Lloyd of Corpus Christi, Texas and Richard E. Lloyd of Gilmer, Texas. She is also survived by four nephews and four nieces, David E.

Lloyd of Akin, South Carolina, James M. Lloyd of Colorado, Kirk Pheffer of California, and Edward Lloyd, Jr. of Orange Grove, Texas; nieces, Lisa Pheffer of California, Sharon K. Lloyd Waldschmidt of Golden, Colorado, Linda L. Lloyd Fox of Golden, Colorado, and Elizabeth Lloyd Herd, of Whitewright, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Cage-Mills Funeral Director, 4901 Everhart Road with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
