Mary Lou Cobb

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Cobb; son-in-law, Paul Grundy and her grandson, Sean Shepard.

Mary was a longtime member of Gardendale Baptist Church , a volunteer at Dr's Regional Medical Center for many years, and also volunteered at the Corpus Christi Museum . Her passion in life was spending time with her daughters and her grandchildren.

She was adored by her grandchildren and was a beautiful example of devotion and unconditional love.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Grundy Wilke (Donnie), and Linda Shepard (Ralph) and a sister, Martha Andrews (Gene). Also surviving her are six grandchildren, Shannon Butler, Buddy Shepard (Lisa), Kim Guttierrez (Sam), Traci DeLeon(Miguel), Tom Grundy (June); fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to offer a special Thank You to her caregivers at Lighthouse Hospice; Lea , Kim ,Carolyn, Connie, and Bill. They were always there for Mary Lou, and loved her as much as she loved them.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21, 2013 a t 2:15 p.m at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
