Maria E. Vasquez, 84, passed away on August 9, 2015. She was born on January 13, 1931 to Ignacio Ramirez and Andrea Vigil Suarez in Dolores, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband; Felix Vasquez Sr., son; Oscar Vasquez, grand-daughter; Melissa Vasquez, and great grandson; Osric Castillo. She is survived by her children; Felix Vasquez, Jr. (Yolanda), Norma Vega (Alfredo), Eloy Vasquez (Gloria), Gerardo Vasquez (Margie) Jaime Vasquez (Deanria), 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
