She was born on April 25, 1940 to Nieves and Andrea Nunez.
Maria will be remembered for her compassion, her strength, her courage and her friendship. She enjoyed socializing with others expressing her fondness for her “Little Angels” the people that she cared for and offering her support to those in need. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Nieves R. Nunez, Jr; nephew, Joe N. Nunez.
Maria is survived by her great-nephew Joe N. Nunez, Jr., great-nieces, Monique N. Nunez and Valerie R. Nunez. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Guadalupe (Tommie) Nunez.
Public visitation will be held from 6pm until 9pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a rosary to be recited at 7pm.
Rites of a Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Cemetery.
