Maria G Munoz

She moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. She achieved up to 5th grade and, continued to advance her education at Del Mar College.

Maria married her husband Pedro A. Munoz, Sr. of 60 years on October 29, 1949. Maria was a loving housewife and supportive mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and great-great-great-grandmother. Maria enjoyed participation in the Guadalupanas of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and Eucharist ministry.

Maria will always be remembered for her love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure (when invited), service in the community, and devotion to her family.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Seven brothers and six sisters, one son, Alfredo; one daughter Rebecca; daughter-in-law, Ana Maria; grandsons: Alfredo, Jr. and Juan, Jr., granddaughter Stephanie Ann Marie; great grandchildren: Roger John and Esteban, Jr.

Maria is survived by her children: four sons Pedro G. Munoz, Jr. (Ana Maria), Carlos G. Munoz (Margarita), Santago G. Munoz (Sophia), and Daniel G. Munoz (Julie), and three daughters: Sylvia M. Garcia (Jose), Gracie Munoz Garza, and Rosalinda M. Martinez (Manuel); daughter-in-laws Sylvia Munoz and Anna Munoz;

37 Grandchildren; 100 great-grandchilddren; 16 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation from 4-9 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, Vigil Service and Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 540 Hiawatha Street, Corpus Christi, TX. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
