Maria Deleon

Maria Deleon, age 90, of Robstown, Texas entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 23, 2023 at her home in Robstown, Texas. She was born to Hermann and Francisca Robledo-Martinez on February 25, 1932 in Odem, Texas. Maria showed she cared for her family in any way she could by the examples she instilled in her love, hope and faithfulness to God.

Maria Deleon is preceded in death by her husband, Jose P. Deleon; her parents, Hermann & Francisca Robledo-Martinez; 3 sisters; 4 brothers; her daughter, Oralia Garcia; her son, Oscar Deleon; her grandsons, Rene Ramon Jr., Antonio Arredondo Jr.; granddaughter, Cindy Deleon and great-great granddaughter, Brinley K. Barrera.

Maria Deleon is survived by her children, Olga Arredondo (✝️Antonio), Ofelia Cortez (Abel), Olivia Ramon (Rene), Jose P. Deleon, Jr. (Esmeralda); her 2 sisters, Josefina Rodriguez and Leonor Martinez; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Abel Cortez Jr., Gabriel Cortez, John Garcia, Anthony Arredondo, JC Deleon, Stephen Soliz Jr., Ronnie Ramon and JP Cortez.

Visitation will be held at Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St., Corpus Christi, TX 78405, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Communion Service will be celebrated on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 540 Hiawatha St., Corpus Christi, TX 78405, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 4607 FM 1889 Robstown, TX 78380.
