Luis M. Aranda

Louie was a commercial artist, owner of “Parrot Signs” and “El Perico Record Shop” on Port Avenue. He was an active member of the “Club Social Mexicano”. He was very dedicated for 32 years in giving of his service to many AA members. He also sponsored the first Hispanic soccer team known as “The Pericos”. He will be dearly missed by all of us whose lives he touched.

Louie is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia C. Aranda; children: Mary Lou Gonzalez (Jesse), Patricia Aranda, George Aranda (Teresa), Rodolfo Aranda; brother and sister: Felipe Aranda (Yolanda) and Didia Padron; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Chapel that same evening. Private Services will follow.

The Aranda family would like to extend their gratitude to Legacy Hospice Staff and providers Maria Zamora and Sylvia Iniguez, for their countless hours of caring for our loved one.
