Loraine grew up on the Franke family farm in Orange Grove where she picked cotton by hand with her 8 brothers and sisters. She was an avid bowler and loved to bake. Loraine was known as “Memaw” to her grandchildren who she loved to babysit when they were little.
Loraine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Jaroszewski; daughter, Gail Jaroszewski; brothers, Herbert, George and Lee Roy Franke; sisters, Lillie Haveman, Esther Koenig, Dora Mae Heider, Evylin Sciba, and Mildred Franke. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Franke; daughter, Patricia Sheeran; grandchildren, Terry Steelhammer, John (Kim) Steelhammer and Karen (Matt) O’Brien; 7 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson on the way.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 10:30 am at Orange Grove First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 600 S. Dibrell St., with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m.
The interment will follow at Sons of Hermann Cemetery in Orange Grove.
