Juan Manuel "Johnny" Parra, 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away August 10, 2017. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 23, 1944. Juan "Johnny" graduated from Roy Miller High School and attended Bee County College where he studied Drafting. He was married to Olga Cano Parra on April 22, 1967. Johnny had a career in welding and drafting for Arthur Bros.; Celanese, and Tennessee Pipeline. He had a passion for hunting, cooking and making memories. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Olga Cano Parra; sisters, Frances Guerra; Elida (Rogelio) Robles; Rose Marie Holley and Yolanda (Martin) Cabrera; numerous nephews, nieces and Godchildren. A Rosary and Memorial Gathering will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Monday, August 14, 2017 with Rosary Recited at 6:30 p.m.
