Josefina D. “Chepa” Cantu passed away at her home January 20, 2014 following a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 3, 1946 in Denver, Colorado. Chepa was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Cantu. Survivors include her two sons, Juan Cantu IV and Jaime Cantu; Three grandchildren, Juan Cantu V, Jordann Cantu and Alexis Diamond Cantu; two brothers, Ruben DeLeon and Felix DeLeon and two sisters, Sara D. Castillo and Maria D. Stansell.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
