Jose Luis Jimenez

He was born April 28, 1944 to Emilio Jimenez and Angelina Calixto and was a lifelong Corpus Christi resident. Jose was a groundskeeper for Del-Mar College for 18 years until he retired. He had a passion for working, fishing and spending time with his family.

He was married San Juanita Jimenez on June 1, 2006.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and mother of his child, Rosario L. Armendarez; brother, Emilio Jimenez; wife and mother of his stepchildren, San Juanita Jimenez and a step-daughter, Sarah Ramos.

Jose leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Rosario Vanessa Armendarez; two step-daughters, Amalia Dimas and Margie Ledesma; four step-sons, Johnny Cantu, David Ledesma, Guadalupe Quinones and Nicholas Quinones. Grandchildren, Oscar Cortinas Jr., Aaron Armendarez, Devin Dimas, and Donive Dimas; three brothers, Alberto Jimenez, Manuel Jimenez and Angel Jimenez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 9 am until Holy Rosary and Funeral Service begins at 10 am, Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, Texas.

Services will conclude at the funeral home.
