Joel Garcia Infante

With great sadness we share the passing of Joel Infante “Uncle Joe” on December 9, 2022. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and all who knew him.

Survived by brother Sostenes Infante Sr./spouse Esperanza Infante, sister Irma Gonzalez/ Spouse Rene Gonzalez, sister Teresa Morrison/Spouse Allen Morrison as well as many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by parents: Genevieva and Samuel Infante, brothers: Raul Infante, Samuel Infante, and Daniel Infante.

Joel was born in Brownsville, TX and lived in Corpus Christi, TX most of his life.

He graduated from Miller High School and proudly served twenty years in the Corpus Christi Police Department as a Police officer. Later in his life he worked as a security officer.

“Uncle Joe” was a devoted brother and uncle that loved making people smile and laugh and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Jennifer Galvan, his supportive care nurse, and all the doctors and nurses at Christus Spohn Hospital that cared for him in his final moments.
