Joe Richard Rangel Jr. was born on September 08, 1986 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He passed away on July 14, 2022. He graduated in 2006 from W.B. Ray High School where he made numerous friends and memories. He also attended Pan American College and Delmar College. For most of his adult life he worked turnarounds in the refinery industry as a scaffold builder, pipe fitter or whatever position was needed of him on the job.
When home in Corpus he was a handy man of many trades and talents. He worked with his Father Joe Rangel Sr., remodeling homes and made sure to see his mother every time he was in town. Joe loved spending time with his sons any chance he could when he wasn’t away with work, and he had a tremendous passion for fishing! His sense of humor was unmatched, and his infectious laughter and smile could light up any room.
Joe Jr. is preceded in death by his grandparents, Juan Sotero Rangel Sr., Aida M. Rangel, and Miguel Martinez Anaya Jr.
Joe Jr. is survived by his children, Zoie Magdalena Rangel, Joe Richard Rangel III and Joeziah Ramses Rangel; mother, Sylvia Rangel; father, Joe Richard Rangel Sr. (Luz Medina); brother, Jordan Rangel; grandmother, Juanita Salinas Anaya; uncles, Robert Anaya, Miguel Anaya III and Juan Sotero Rangel Jr. (Annette); aunts, Patricia Gallegos, Hilda, Rivera, Laura (Daniel) Chavez and Elda (Javier) Garza Garcia; along with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces who will deeply miss him.
