Guadalupe Lopez completed his life journey on earth, Sunday, December 16, 2012. He was born May 4, 1946 in Victoria, Texas to Seferino Lopez and Esther Hernandez Lopez.
He served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp. He retired as a Lab Tech with Flint Hills Resources after 43 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca Guerra Lopez; son, Robert Rene (Mary) Lopez; daughter, Lydia Lopez Farjardo; 4 grandchildren, Victoria Farjardo, Joshua Lopez, D’ana Lopez and Christian Farjardo; his survivors include 2 sisters, Felicita (Humberto) Cantu and Nancy (Peter) Anzaldua and 3 nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
