George graduated from Tuloso Midway High School in 1977. He had a career in the rigging and wire rope industry for E. L. Bearden, International Southwest Sling, Texas Rigging Company and Hoisting Wire Rope and Sling.
George had a passion for his work, family, the ranch and the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eliseo Salinas.
George is survived by his mother, Dora Salinas; son, Josh Salinas; granddaughter, Tatym Salinas; brothers, Robert and Chris Salinas; and a sister, Annette Barrios.
A visitation for George will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
