Fermin Trevino Jr.

Fermin Trevino Jr., age 86, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was born on May 8, 1930 to Fermin and Paula Manzano Trevino in Laredo, TX. Fermin drove 18 wheel trucks for SMT, Alamo and Hygeia. He will always be remembered for being a simple man who loved music. He loved his wife, children and entire family. He was a strong, hardworking husband and father. Fermin had a great sense of humor and loved joking around to make people laugh.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Diamantina Olvera Trevino; his parents, Fermin and Paula Trevino; brothers, Jerry, Ray and Nick; sisters, Polly, Mary, Adela and Connie.

Fermin is survived by his children, Gloria Trevino-Trevino (Manuel), Blanca T. Flores (John), Mary T. Flores (Ron), Fermin, Mario, Mike and Abel Trevino; brothers, John and Eddie Trevino; sisters, Irene Schafer and Bertha Robles; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons also survive him.

Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
