Donald lived a blessed life abounding in Faith and family. He was kind and mild, yet unwavering in truth. Practiced in frugality, he was nevertheless unsparing in his generosity to those in need. He was reflective and reserved in nature, yet he never hesitated to pour himself out for others. He was a lucky husband, a patient father, and a legendary grandfather. He was a man for all seasons and a devoted son of God and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Evelyn. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Tammy, Christi, and Jenny, by his grandchildren Kaleb, Christian, Augustine, Mary Grace, Ignatius, Theodore, Finnian, and Adelaide, by his brother David , and sisters Judy and June.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. and continue with Rites of a christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 P.M..
