Donald C. Moore III

Donald C. Moore, III, 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2023. Donald was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 6, 1949 to father, Donald Moore Jr. and mother, Nadine Higgins.

Donald (Don) was married on May 8, 1976, to his loving wife, Melynda Margaret Moore, who precedes him in death. Also preceding Don in death are his sisters, Donna Chapin and Roxanne Spencer.

Don spent his career working in the oil field at Haliburton Resource Management for 25 years before moving on to Hallmark Production Company until retirement. Don had a passion for anything outdoors; such as the beach, camping and spending time with family and friends. He also loved working on anything mechanical and “tinkering” with his truck.

Don is survived by his sister, Julie Jennings; daughters, Joan Irene Moore and Dena Marie McCravy (Stephen McCravy); son, Donald Cameron Moore, Jr. (Suzette Moore), and stepson, Michael G. Knowlton (Laurie Knowlton). Don also had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandchildren: James Anthony Moore, Samantha Cervantes, Christopher McCravy, Robbie McCravy, Alayah Moore, Adara Moore and Cameron Moore. Great-grandchildren: Dean, Scott, Ron, Leo, Emmitt, Tommy, Maddie.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 beginning at 8:30 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with service at 10:00 AM.
