Daniel was an Air Force Veteran who courageously served our Country in the Vietnam War. He was a meticulously skilled welder for 50 years. He was a superior craftsman in his trade, which was his life’s work. Daniel greatly enjoyed the camaraderie of his coworkers as well as that of his friends. He was a social and active person that enjoyed a good laugh and knew people in many towns throughout South Texas. Daniel also enjoyed trying his lucky hand in many casinos, watching sports, fishing, hunting, and drinking a few cold beers.
Daniel was a wonderful and adored husband who truly loved and respected his wife. He was also a loving and kind brother to his siblings and uncle to his nieces and nephews. Daniel was a fun grandpa who enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He was a caring father who loved his children and stepchildren in each of their own unique ways.
Daniel will be greatly missed by his wife of 31 years, Emelda, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, five brothers, four sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, father, one brother, one niece, two nephews, and one brother in law.
Visitation will take place at 1:30 p.m. for friends with a Funeral Service commencing at 3:00 p.m. at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Services will conclude in the Chapel. Services are entrusted to Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
