Daniel C. Sanchez

He was a devoted husband, father, and entrepreneur, known for his calm demeanor, friendly nature, and contagious smile. He owned and operated Dan’s Barbershop since 1962, Dan’s Bail Bonds, and Dan’s Notary.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Eustolio and Simona Sanchez, his daughter, Diana Sanchez, and his siblings John Sanchez, Angelina Cantù, Richard Sanchez, and Anita Cruz.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Melba Sanchez of 66 years, his siblings David Sanchez, Sylvia Sanchez, Gloria Pena, and Mary Olson. Daniel will be deeply missed by his children, Oscar Sanchez Sr. and Robert Sanchez, as well as his grandchildren, Christina Sanchez, Oscar Sanchez Jr., Valerie Sanchez, Vanessa Stewart-Reed, Robert Sanchez Jr., Ariel Sanchez, Mariah Sanchez, and Arianne Sanchez-Gonzalez.

He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Kayla, Marcos, Oscar III, Lucca, Athena, Jackson, and Presley.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
