Corina Sanchez Sanchez

Corina Sanchez, 73, of Raymondville, Texas entered eternal rest on September 4th, 2023 in Corpus Christi, Texas . She was born to Baldemar and Carolina Sanchez on March 30th, 1950. She married the love of her life, Rafael Sanchez on December 23rd, 1972, and had 3 children, Rafael G. Sanchez, Rosendo Sanchez, and Nora Alvarez. Corina was blessed with 6 grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Arielle, Maritza, Rafael V., Daphne, Lillian, Gabriela, and 3 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jordyn, and Jianna.

Corina will be remembered for her tender heart with open arms, her laugh, her ability to put others before herself, and her cooking. She shared her love with all who she encountered. To Corina, her family was her world. She loved to be in the kitchen making meals and memories with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Baldemar and Carolina Sanchez; husband, Rafael Sanchez; sons, Rosendo Sanchez, and Rafael G. Sanchez; great-granddaughter, Jordyn Anae Benavides; and sister, Christina Puga.

Corina is survived by her daughter, Nora Alvarez (Jorge); daughter-in-law, Anabel Sanchez (Rafael G.); brothers, Balde and Ramiro; sisters, Delia and Dora; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren,

A public visitation will be held from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, September 8th, 2023 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with a Funeral Service to be held at 5:00 pm.

As we reflect on the life of Corina Sanchez, we are blessed to have known and been loved by someone so great. We will remember all the memories we have created together and carry them in our hearts. We love you. Until we meet again.
