They were also grantees of some of the largest portions on both sides of the Rio Grande, South Texas. They were amongst the first cattle barons, first cowboys, first settlers, and the first printers of South Texas. The Balli lineage was Italian from the provinces of Verona and Padua, Italy. The Balli’s were a rich and influential family that extended from Italy, Spain, and Mexico.
Blanca was twice blessed in marriage. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Bonifacio M. Mauricio Jr. (D. 1978). She later found love again with her second husband, US Army veteran SP4, Jesus G. Zepeda (D. 2014) with whom she shared many happy years.
In Blanca's younger years, she briefly worked at Driscoll Children’s Hospital assisting with newborns. She also worked as an administrative assistant for a local doctor’s office. Although she enjoyed being employed, she ultimately preferred being a homemaker/housewife where she took pride in cooking, baking, and caring for her children.
Blanca always loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed organizing and decorating her home for gatherings and events. She was also known for living in style, and loved to shop for clothes, jewelry, and especially antique furniture and decor for her home. On her competitive side, she loved to play card and board games. In her later years, she loved spending time with a local canasta group. Her enjoyment of hosting and attending card game gatherings gained her many amazing lifelong friendships.
She is survived by her children, Bonifacio Munoz Mauricio III (Annette V. Mauricio), Raul Munoz Mauricio, Miguel Antonio Munoz Mauricio (Veronica Cruz), and Bianca Munoz Zepeda. She was a loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two siblings, Melinda Munoz Blackmon and Armandina Munoz Gongora (Arturo Torres).
