Anastacia T Villarreal

Our beloved aunt left this world and entered into eternal life on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Anastacia “Tachita” Villarreal was born on November 5, 1923 in Corpus Christi where she lived until 1992 when she moved to Austin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan R. Villarreal and Fidela Trevino; her brothers, John T. Villarreal and Gilbert T. Villarreal; her sister, Elida M. Vidaurri and her twin sister and best friend Frances V. Ortiz.

She is survived by her niece, Martha V. Ortiz who was her caregiver during the last years of her life. She is also survived by her nieces, Frances Ortiz-Salazar, Sandra M. Ortiz, Joy Alonso, and her nephews John G. Villarreal, Alfred Vidaurri, Jr., and Jonathan Vidaurri.

Pallbearers will be John G. Villarreal, Joseph I. Salazar, Jonathan Villarreal, James R. McCarty, Jose Salazar, James A. Kropp, and honorary pallbearer, Drake William-Jose Abernathy.

Visitation is scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly. Funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Kelsey United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
